Alexander Stafford, local Member of Parliament for Rother Valley, visited New Orchard Lane in Thurcroft, where residents have been experiencing problems with dangerous, obstructive parking.
Cars parking in the area have been obstructing roads and footpaths, and generally causing a nuisance to residents on the estate. Local MP Alexander, who has received complaints from his constituents about this, spoke to developers on-site recently, who apologised for any inconvenience and assured MP that this would not happen again.

Really constructive meeting this morning with developers at New Orchard Lane.
This has been a big problem for my constituents and I am pleased that developers have been so open in tackling it and taking steps to ensure that the problem does not recur.
