Rother Valley MP Alexander Stafford yesterday met with the chairman, supporters, local councillors, and some of the players at Dinnington Town FC to talk about their plans for a 3G pitch.
The 3G pitch would give the community and town a much-needed boost and enable more participation in sport locally. Alexander has voiced his support for plans and is working with the club to help bring the plans to fruition.
Commenting, Alexander Stafford MP said:
Sport brings many benefits, including improved mental health and it is a nice way to socialise with others. Today I visited Dinnington Town FC who have a really good proposal that would bring benefits to the whole community.
While ambitious I totally support the idea of a 3G pitch, and I will help the club in any way I can to ensure that they have access to high quality to facilities.
