Alexander Stafford MP recently visited Woodsetts Primary School to find out how they are keeping children and staff safe in a socially distanced way.
Alexander met staff to discuss the measures they are putting in place to safeguard themselves and pupils, and to thank them for the wonderful job they are doing. Alexander was very grateful to the school for welcoming him and showing him around and had a lovely time speaking to staff and students.
Over the course of the last month, amidst the Coronavirus crisis, school life has changed considerably for everyone, and Alexander recognises the hard work done by all to ensure that our children and young people do not fall behind as a result of the pandemic.
Commenting, Alexander Stafford MP said:
It was a real pleasure to meet with staff at Woodsetts Primary School, and to see the wonderful job they are doing in keeping children safe and ensuring they are properly educated. I would like to offer my thanks to the staff for making it possible to keep the school open throughout the crisis for children of keyworkers.
