Recently, I met South Yorkshire Police at the Community Safety at Lifewise Centre in Hellaby.
It is an interactive learning centre for South Yorkshire communities, developed by South Yorkshire Police and South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue. Featuring a purpose-built set, it is used to educate visitors about safety and citizenship with the ultimate aim of reducing crime and improving quality of life.
This sort of learning investment from our local services is great to educate children of how to keep safe during a fire and a fantastic resource linked up with local schools.
