Local Rother Valley MP, Alexander Stafford, joined a community skip day in Thurcroft, organised by Thurcroft Big Local and attended also by new Thurcroft ward councillors.
In an effort to keep the ward clean, the Big Local hired a skip to clear items from streets in the area, including mattresses, rubble and household waste. Local MP Alexander helped councillors, volunteers and residents fill 2 skips.

It was great to give a hand along with Thurcroft & Wickersley South Councillors today.
Two very full skips filled full of rubble, mattresses, tree trunks and so much household waste. Will make a great difference for the village.
