Alexander Stafford, local MP for Rother Valley, asked the Chancellor, The Rt Hon Rishi Sunak MP, to confirm that his newly-announced flexi job apprenticeship schemes would deliver high-end manufacturing jobs to his Rother Valley constituency.
A former industrial seat, Rother Valley's local economy continues to be driven by manufacturing. Chancellor's new apprenticeship schemes would allow young people in Rother Valley to gain experience in a valuable sector whilst learning a trade, thereby giving them the best chance at succeeding in a very competitive field and obtaining a good job.
