Commenting, Alexander Stafford MP said
The Government's Levelling Up Fund is a once in a generation opportunity and absolutely must be seized upon by Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council.
There is a £20 million grant available for Rother Valley and I want our communities to be first in the queue to receive this so we can rejuvenate our local high streets and shopping areas.
Rother Valley cannot afford to miss out and I will do everything that I possibly can to enable Rother Valley to access this investment. I hope this petition, and seeing the strength of feeling within the local community, convinces the Council to act now.
