Alexander Stafford MP has met residents who live near to Treeton Meadows to discuss their complaints about the ongoing problems of anti-social behaviour in Hail Mary Woods.
Residents discussed with Alexander issues around people using quad bikes, tearing up the ground and causing excessive amounts of noise and fly tipping, which is harmful to wildlife and an eyesore. Alexander has committed to writing to RMBC to request that the waste is cleared and also promised to speak to South Yorkshire Police about the use of quad bikes and damage caused.
Commenting, Alexander Stafford MP said:
It was good to speak to residents to understand their concerns around anti-social behaviour and I will speak to the police and write to RMBC to find a solution to this common problem. This is a beautiful part of Rother Valley for all to enjoy, not just a select few.
I urge anyone who has any concerns regarding anti-social behaviour anywhere in Rother Valley to contact the police or my office, so that a beneficial solution can be found.
