Alexander Stafford, MP for Rother Valley and longtime campaigner against HS2, reaffirmed his opposition to the 'white elephant' scheme in the House of Commons today.

During a debate on transport for the North, Alexander called on Sheffield City Region and it's leader Dan Jarvis MP, to abandon his support for the unpopular high speed railway link and focus instead on improving regional and local transport links across the Sheffield City Region.
