- Local MP Alexander Stafford visited Whiston-based group, Tuneless Choir, ahead of their relaunch tomorrow evening
- Tuneless Choir, run by Becky ([email protected]) is a singing club for everyone, regardless of ability
Alexander Stafford, local MP for Rother Valley, joined Rotherham Tuneless Choir at their rehearsals ahead of their relaunch tomorrow evening, following months of suspended meetings due to coronavirus.
Tuneless Choir was formed last year and had just two meetings before they were forced to suspend practice as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. They provide an environment in which everyone can sing along, regardless of ability, and they are delighted to be back and in fine voice.
Meeting weekly on Monday evenings at Whiston Parish Hall, Tunless Choir welcomes everyone, regardless of how they sing, to come along and have an evening of fun which, in these times, is just what everyone needs.
Commenting, Alexander said:
I had a fantastic time meeting Becky and hearing about Tuneless Choir. What a fantastic initiative and what a way to bring people together.
If you are in or around Whiston, I would definitely recommend that you go along and wish them all the best for their relaunch.
