Recently I met with Cllr Baum-Dixon and residents on Edinburgh Drive, North Anston, to look at and discuss the trees that have become extremely overgrown at Anston Plantation. I have spoken with several residents who have seen trees or large branches crash into their properties.
The Plantation is an important part of the area and I know that all residents want to see a proper and sustained woodland management plan put in place, that will allow flora and fauna to thrive, while addressing the safety concerns of residents and enabling everyone to continue to enjoy this important community asset.
I will continue to work with the Anston & Woodsetts councillors to ensure that RMBC are listening and acting on the concerns of residents.
