- Local MP Alexander Stafford hosts Street Surgeries across his Rother Valley constituency to speak to constituents out and about doing their shopping.
- Having visited Swallownest and Thurcroft since restrictions lifted earlier this year, Alexander took the series to Maltby, pitching up across from The Queen's Hotel, and was joined by Maltby Councillors Simon Ball, Lee Hunter and Adam Tinsley
Alexander Stafford, MP for Rother Valley, held one of his hugely successful Street Surgeries on Maltby High Street yesterday alongside newly-elected Conservative Councillors Simon Ball, Lee Hunter and Adam Tinsley.
The series sees him visit prominent high streets, pitching up for a set length of time so that residents have the chance to speak to him about matters of concern whilst they are out and about doing their shopping. Yesterday's stop was Maltby high street, opposite the Queen's Hotel, where Alexander spoke to residents about a range of issues, including rubbish around the Model Village and energy company charges.
Alongside these events, Alexander continues to host a mix of virtual and in-person regular surgeries, and constituents are encouraged to get in touch to book via email ([email protected]) or telephone on 01909 494952.
Commenting, Alexander said:
Thanks to everyone who came along to my Street Surgery today in Maltby. Issues I dealt with included rubbish around the Model Village, someone being over charged by their energy company, a charity fundraising query, blue badge concerns, and many many more. Thank you as well to the Maltby and Hellaby Councillors who joined with me - working together to make Maltby a better place.
Key your eye our for where the next street surgery will be, and remember I am available any time for 'regular' advice surgeries either in person or virtual.
