Today in Parliament Alexander Stafford MP called for better rewards and recognition for NHS and Care workers. He called for increased pay, a medal and a remembrance event in Whitehall for those that laid down their lives in this struggle.
Alexander Stafford also highlighted some of the good work carried out in Rother Valley including the Thurcroft Coronavirus Acton Group, Laughton FC, Cawthorne’s Travel and many more.
Alexander Stafford MP said “We have been fighting a war in Rother Valley over the past few months. Our enemy has been coronavirus, and we have all made great sacrifices. No one has sacrificed more than our incredible health and social care workers who have put everything on the line in order to defeat this terrible virus. Without their dedication and expertise, we would not be in the position we are today. The British people owe these heroes an eternal debt of gratitude.”
